that tends to happen on ebay.....

yes i do like that, just rang but no answer, i will ring again tommorow. good price too.
starlet has gone, £3000, that yellow gti has also gone. now in need of yellow gti, or wud it be worth buyin a normal one (which r cheaper) than payin £700 ish for a yellow respray?
Yellow resprays always look shit IMO.

Get a genuine one.

Thats the one id buy
i dont want a supercharged one, cost way to much to run, its gotta be a W reg onwards.
have you seen the page before?
a few reasons why they dont tek my fancy,

1. has to be W reg onwards
2. not travellin to scotland or devon etc lol
3. dont want high mileage

a lot of yellow ones have high mileage or are miles away thats the prob, been and spoke to matt, he says the paint job will be identical to any other yellow gti. so i can get a y/51 reg gti with 40k ish on it for around 3500. the bodywork and respray is coming back at a really good price too.
If i was in your shoes, I wouldn't buy one before 1998, they didn't have the leather interior.

Also newer engined 106's have an EGR which can be by passed to get better throttle repsonse and maybe a couple of ponies

Just a thought but have you considered the moonstone blue gti's they are just as sought after as the nana yellow and look mint when polished up.
