Has anyone done this or seen a guide to doing it?
Decided to swap the GTi front for the Jetta one and I have both cars around - just wondered where the relevant screws/bolts were and if there were any potential issues?
not done one personally but my mate did one a while ago to his golf and he said if you have both the cars just take them both to bits swap the relevent bits around, dont take this as set in stone as its what i was told.
you putting the gti front end on the jetta ?

Yeah, the Jetta grille and lights will be on the Golf and the GTi front on the Jetta.
The Jetta is red so the GTi grille will suit it much better. Especially with the eyebrow on.
As for the Golf - I will do the swap but I am considering getting some nice clear headlights and a deeper eyebrow.

golf front end on the jetta looks the nuts, not to sure on jetta fronts on golfs tho just my opinion
it just makes them that little bit different
But i agree, the Getta (hee hee) would be better, than a Jolf

Going to do something a bit different with my Jolf though.
Most just swap the front and leave it there.
I'm going to swap the grille for the late 3 bar Jetta one, then paint it all (even the lower trim and badge) satin black.
Then I am going to attempt to darken the headlights by painting some of the excess reflector area satin black too.
A deeper than normal eyebrow spoiler, profiled around the badge and colour coded should finish off the look
Dare I say it but it should look something like the Rallye front.
