Been toying with what to do with the Golf and Jetta today.
I don't have the time or inclination to finish the Jetta now - I'd much prefer to move it on with some modifying bits to someone who would really go for it and now I have the Golf I have lost my focus.
1.8GL auto with full '90 spec kit and lux GL interior. No tax or MOT.
Had a look on the net, did some research and played with some bits.
A set of rims, lowering springs, tinted rear lenses and maybe a grille swap would have it looking very different. Would be a shame for me to cannibalise it for the sake of a few quid but I need it gone.
£150 as is (needs battery charging and carb setting up, then an MOT)
£220 with new -40mm springs, tinted indicators/repeaters/Isotta steering wheel and Golf 4 lamp GTi spec grille (with new inner crystal lense spots/normal headlights).
Here's a few I found on the net for inspiration - it could look like this with a little effort because its basically a sound motor.
