Very soon yet another exciting edition wto the maxxd family will be launched.

after various discussions and ideas we are launching a website that will run along side maxxd.com

Maxxdmotorsport.com and .co.uk (same page) will allow selected maxxd members to showcase there rides, upload pics, timeslips and dyno prints for the cars as well as vids and pics from the motorsport divisions track days/RWYB events and next year maxxd will be launching the full team at a event at York Raceway.

There is no forum it will be a page for information, a chance to pick up sponsors and showcase what we are doing under the bonnets to make things faster!
You can keep track of all results and upto date spec lists for all the cars involved

All cars are from maxxd and are maxxd.com members and so far consist of:

Ollie - 200SX
Phil - 2.0 Fiesta
Nez - Scooby
Ant - Something Jap
Widdo - Starlet
Matty - Yaris Supercharger
D - Clio
Ste - 106 GTI
Screech - Ignis Sport
and maybe Grainger if he joins up with maxxd in his EG Civic.

If you are interested, then ask me for details or keep checking on the links in our sigs for the page to be created!

If your in that list above, then i need some imput from you.

I need 1 great pic of your car, a full tech spec + any figures that can be PROVEN

What would YOU like to see added to this site? what do you want to add to it anything specific bearing mind its an information site for you to use.

bad news guys..

i went to register .com and .co.uk yesterday, and there was an issue with the registraton.

i contacted them today, and some stupid fucking bitch on the other end of the phone cancelled the names so i could re-register them..

somewho (PLEASE dont ask me how, i just dont know) the .com domain has been snapped up by some other company.

I am trying to get thru to them, but the number rings to voicemail and no reply to email..

Hopefully they'll be nice and let us have it for the original cost..

for the time being please use .co.uk Icon_sad

Take your pick from that lot!
It is very qualified Lee!

Would love to have a couple of maxxd logos on it-first car club with a dragster with its name on?

This may sound a bit random but would it be available to make an appearance at modified nationals on the stand or is that too much effort?

*Update*

After the unfortunate fiasco with the domain name, and appologies to olly for having all this extra work the website will be registered tommorow but will be...

I'm going to run it by my ol' man when I get home about doing more to promote ourself as a team, so I was thinking of trying to get the (hopefully brand new) car to a few shows and things yeah. My thought was perhaps at USC or something like that and do a few demo passes as well. If not then something like the Modified Nationals would be ideal, we could stick it on the Pro Jacks and fire it up a few times during the day to attract some attention to the stand or somet. I'll keep you posted. Icon_smile

well your more than welcome to USC with us too!

But if we could have a kirk family drag car on the stand then that would be insane!
you wanna speak to olstar about getting ratfink a website, sure he can sort you something out!
Yeah I think having the car on the stand would definitely attract attention, it's guranteed to be different to what anyone else has in attendance too. What says "modified car" more than 0-60mph in less than 1 second?!

We've got a couple of irons in the fire at the moment regarding a new car for next year and at the moment a Dodge Stratus is looking favourite. It should look something like this (hopefully!)..........

As for the website, I used to run one myself but the guy who owned the domain and server did a runner! After that I never fancied starting from scratch again and got pre-occupied with http://www.supermodified.co.uk instead. It's worth considering though, I might talk to Olly about it next year.
you know where i am Icon_smile

dude, if we could have one of your cars on the stand.. oh fuck..

that would be amazing! :O
I'll work on it....Icon_biggrin
