Well,

After a night out on the beer with meatball, a 7.00am start was not what i needed sunday morning however im glad i did!

Arranged to pick up screech at 7.10am...was more like 7.20 and then lee westwood at 7.15...turned into 7.30! i also managed to pick up a brucy bonus and pick up olly as matty decided not to answer his phone!

Met up with widdo and mike shaw at sutton maccies, swapped a wheel on a ford Ka (Jess's!) and headed off to the pod around 8.

Got in after a bit of a que and found one of the busiest shows of the year, lots of club stands lots of trade stands and a full day of awesome jap track action including the finals of the HKS drag series.

Widdo had a place on the starlet stand:



and as you can see the pod was very busy:



managed to have a nose round John Bradshaws 8 second R33 liner:



Winner of the Pro class on the day Leon Greens Toyota Supra:



And european record breaking FWD Honda Civic type R From CPL racing running in at a 10.6 sec pass!!!



fantastic show, good weather, lots of interesting ideas for my winter rebuild on the nissan too!

Spotted Jonny T, Binnsey and Neil T Sport all there too. Niel was running on the track managed to see 2 of his runs cant remeber his times though!

and obv this wouldnt be a show report without my Top 10!

1. Very cool EK Hatch, had everything jap about it!



2. Xsqusite MR2 was looking better than ever at the show



3. everyone likes these...old skool AE86 Corrolla was a fine example



4. with rubber strected like a dub but on massive jap rims this was one very different R33!



5. Bright and beefy Toyota supra was a pick of a very large bunch



6. Faz from Funky power's awesome turbo NSX! - and he gives maxxd members a discount!



7. not an obvious choice but quite possibly the cleanest and best Nissan Pulsar i have ever seen.



8. bet your thinking WTF??? this turbo'd civic was king of the track running all day and managing to get down into......the low 11's!!!!!!!!



9. Im slightly biased but this JDM Nissan Silvia looked stunning



10. yet another civic another great JDM looking car worthy of my top 10!

was at mfn 2 weeks ago looked amazing (saying that hurt)

there was a photoshoot for a big mag going off, the bloke told me this wud prob be main pic, so i stood next to him and took same pic lol

also i realsided once home i had the camera set to 'indoors' thats y pics are shit quality lol

Really wanted to go to this and get up the strip but I felt like poo in the morning and I didnt even go out the night before

Had a place on the Yaris stand aswell, all well, theres always next year and a few RWYB days left this year.

saw some very rare white N reg starlets

and got some good ideas for the civic :D (11 sec one )

yeh saw 2 other white N reg starlets, not to bad only 3 of us in the country.

olly i think u may need more than a 1.5 lsi to get into 11secs ;)
