Near enough every show we've been to they have had police on the M1, and no doubt there will be a few coppers on the way through Castle Donington etc, to raise some funds for the police ball.

And it's only coming back on the Sunday where it's going to be a problem as i'll still have MOT on the Friday, but then again if it comes up on their systems that it runs out on that day they might get suspicious. My tax disc is also out of date but i've done it online, will it still come up?
Anyone know anyway where they will have springs instock to walk away with the same day? 'cos if I can get some springs I can get it MOT'd Friday morning. No point MOT'ing it otherwise 'cos it will fail.

If you've done it online then it'll be fine, it registers straight away. You might get a miserable copper though that does you for displaying a disc that's out of date despite having paid up. A reg check won't show up anything though if you don't get stopped.
iirc u have to do tax online bout 5 days before to get disc thru post.
Does anyone know the number for Autocruise asap please I can't find it online n the one I have doesn't work. Sorry for going off topic.

I did my last one online the day it expired and rolled round with an out of date disc for a few days with no bother...in fact when the disc did come through I left it in the door card for about another week 'til Vicky put it in the screen for me
