fucking hell..
bet thats costing a small fortune!
what are you expecting to gain from all these upgrades?
or are you just replacing components for better quality ones?
Naa i'm over hauled everything. The max fueling now is 3.2L and i'm wanting 500 bhp from it
The machining guys should have the engine by the weekend.
Also the guy at true tech couldn't believe all the parts that i turned up with. I think he was all excited to

hehe.. like a kid in a candy shop, eh?
well keep us updated with photos and writeups of how its going

Buying the carbon bonnet monday from america too

Make you sure you get them to replace your hairdryer and scissors too mate

j/k
Impressive spec there, she should have plenty of poke after that little lot

If everything goes well it's Stage 2 Boost Cooler time
This kit uses manifold boost pressure to determine when and how much fluid to inject. Proportionally injecting according to boost pressure gives the most accurate delivery of water-methanol and allows the most cooling and performance improvement over the widest range. More power and driveability is the result. It can be used on any forced induction engine: carbureted, fuel injected, turbocharged, positive displacement or centrifugal blowers. The most suitable are the centrifugal supercharged and turbocharged engines, as they build boost is a more progressive manner concerning water-methanol injection. The positive displacement blower engines will work, but it might take more work to dial in the delivery. For higher boost applications (over 25psi), the controller can be upgraded to our VC100 unit. Now with Lifetime Warranty - please see details.
the mr2 engine is basically the st205 is it not?
if its got a charge cooler id get rid of it asap.
after 400bhp they warp:eyes:
fmic or some other cooling.

yeah cos removing it will do the boost temps loads of good!
charge cooler...exactly that, remove it, intake charge temp will be too hot, performance will be piss poor, and he'll likely start gettin detonation!
The chargecooler has been used on mr2s over 400 bhp (i know loads of them running them and have been for sometime) .
I've been looking into a chargecooler for the side intake atm (it's a totaly diffrent one to the RC chargecooler). But i think my brakes need sorting first
A charge cooler can be anywhere between 40-60% more efficient than an air to air intercooler. Why ditch it??! The standard one my be a bit flimsy under decent power, but the same can be said for most OEM parts from any manufacturer. As a device though, a chargecooler is pretty superior.
the silver toyota corolla ae101, had a fmic, because he warped the charge cooler and loads of gt4' owner had the same problem.
The standard one maybe, but chargecoolers are better and more efficient than an air to air intercooler. That's scientific fact.
After buying the new head and now i've just bought the 78mm pistons as the 76.5 mm were to small (had to bore larger as the engine is 17 years old lol). I sold the 76.5mm for £400 and got the new 78mm ones for £250 delivered from america
Also picked myself up a new hks dump adapter to smarten up the engine bay and also a trust greddy knock sensor
The works going well just taking time

shit man, i don't think ive ever known anyone mess about with their car as much as you have!
the whole time ive know you, you've constantly been replacing, and upgrading!
hat's off to you sir!
