MOT time is looming and i need to get my wheel off to do some work on the 106.
I went to take off my locking nut and the key snapped. bugger!
The wheels on the car are Speedline Chrono's and the locking nut looks like this
The wheel nut removers from halfrauds and the like are too big to fit over the top of the nut as it's sat within a deep recess in the wheel.
What I wanted to know was, is there any tools or techniques out there that can help me get these off without knackering the wheel?
yup there is away of drilling them out but as its the key that snapped you would have to do all 4 and unless you know some one that can do it dont think it will be cheap
i gotta do all 4 I know, it's the front two i need doing ASAP for the mot

either drill and reverse threads or welds a nut into them.....

Or, use a key from the same manufacturer, but remove some pins from it? as you only need 50% of the pics to remove it..

can u use a welder ste cos ive gt 1 i can bring round, ya can weld a bolt on to it or summat and try n turn it out tht way

careful not to burn your alloy with the heat from the welder
It's all sorted.
Had another go at them tonight. Knackered two perfectly good extesion bars and a few sockets but it's cheaper than a new alloy or trying to drill them out.
