right mate.
first of all, what do you hope to gain out of the remap?
the remapping of an engine will only realy be worth it if you have already spent money on the engine (airflow, cams, headwork, fuel).
realy the remap is a "setting up" of the engine to gain the most out of it after it has been played with/tuned.
start with a decent air intake system, and exhaust system with 4-2-1manifold, decat, and generally better 'breathing' capabilities. then take it further if you want.

good advice---- really a remap is the last thing to do with the engine tuning to get everything set up fine as said above.
but its ur call a remap will make a difference and there are different levels if you dont want to mess with other performance parts other than the ecu then fair enough but it wont be as beneficial as doing it at a later stage

The more performance mods you do the better your remap result will be.
