Think this may be a topic for Tom & G to answer.

Right this year I'm really looking into getting into some trackdays, I've been nosing around on the internet and have seen http://www.bookatrack.com are doing some evening sessions at Donington for £99 are these sessions worth it?

Do you guys know of any decent sites which specialize in track day bookings, and parts, also anywhere that sells good quality helmets/gloves. Also which sites do I use to get on trackdays at Cadwell?

These are good for trackdays

cracking track time for the money

They do trackdays at Cadwell Park as well as other places
am up for it but it needs to b on a sunday or a wednesday
Well up for this mate, any old fool can drive fast in a straight line but track driving is where its at.

Count me, and i suspect a few more in. know teddy and ollie will be up for it.

Need to consider the insurance issue too, but on track is prob only place at donnington your car will be safe from pikeys nicking bits off it!
yeah defo need to think about insurance, but i believe some tracks offer there own sort of insurance policies u can get on the day.
I normally go on track days through clubs, or 10 of us will get together and get a group booking Icon_smile

The earlier you book the cheaper it is! normally prices go up at the date gets closer..

Im not a fan of donington myself, much prefer cadwell or oulton park its to open long etc... and it seems because its well known their were lots of people their who arnt enthuisasts went and arnt as friendly / polite on the track,

ie if they thought they had or do have a more powerful car and could keep ahead of you on the straights they would even though they were holding you up through the courners and runing your fun!

Insurance.... something ive never had on the track yet, its stupidly expensive :o Before you go on you sign disclaimers that basicly say no one is responsible and if someone crashes into you its tough luck Icon_sad

Think Matty + D your cars would be much more fun on somewhere like cadwell, where top speed doesnt matter but your ability to get through the courners does.

CADWELL PARK - £149 Full Day - Open Pitlane
Wednesday 12 September 2007

Is possiably the next one im going to do, except for French Car shows track Icon_biggrin

Also recoment open pit so you can come off and on as you please the tracks always empty im comparrision to sessions that donington normally run where people feel obliged to go out on the alocated time and by the time everyones spread out its time to come back in.
I will be doing trackdays in my new car (106 rallye)

Would be good if sometime in the summer we can get loads of maxxd memebers to a trackday, would be loads of fun
Quite a bit of interest already on this thread, sure numbers would grow and even with inevitable drop out rate bet we could raise enough members to make a day of it.

cofff *Teddy sort it* coff
