Just in case any of ya are interested, here's me an my filthy filthy (:lolIcon_smile S14a heading out onto Silverstone. Only my second track session ever, shalln't be my last. Plenty of sideways in the complex (as Duane in the Wine Red S14 was experimenting again with.

Anyone who hasn't done it, get some track time in. Such a different edge to a car show. Anyway, here I am, the picture whore!

Full geometry change next (non-coilover).
sweet photos mate

Really wanted to take mine on the track but the brakes need looking at and on standard floaty floaty suspension..mm not sure! Donny and next year 100%!

Car lokked good mate duane likes to play doesnt he Icon_wink
I'm still on standard suspension mate, you'd be very suprised just how agile these cars are. It's nothing like a road environment, and while you do suffer from body roll that definitely affects cornering speed, I was still pushing it through whatever pack I came to. You just have to learn to allow the car to follow a suitable line.

Brakes though, yeah, that's a must. I've got Mintex 1144 track pads, brembo disc, goodridge lines etc etc. Need to do them.

Now saving for adjustable ride height/non adjustable damping Eibach kit from Guglielmi Motorsport and a full sport alignment. How I'll do that at Uni is yet to be seen lol.

Duane was having a time, the briefing guy TOLD us to try it out. So we did, but he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better LOL
yea it does feel "rolly" but didnt realise you were on stock sus!

not sure what to do with the brakes yet..it come off the road at the end of this month so will look at it then but they are starting to feel weak...track would have killed them!

guglielmi motorsport is that steve with the mental 20v Turbo elise?

i WILL be on track at Donny!
That's the ones mate, the 1.8T Elise. They are about, ooo, 800 yards up the road from me Icon_lol I had the 200SX compression tested up there a few weeks ago and caught the Elise naked:

Well, one of them:

Check here for 15 pics of that morning if you want mate. They're a geometry specialist so I figured they'd be the place to go!

As for brakes, my set up didn't fade after 6 laps of Donny or 5 of Silverstone. But it did dust up. Well worth it though mate, you can actually get a 315mm conversion under stock rims if you want. I love my Brembo 282's though, I don't need more, not yet anyway!
Cool pictures.

I have a few Video's from the Track with you on.
sweet pics mate..

that pic of you and duane in the foreground is excellent! Icon_smile
Sh3llz, share the wealth dude! Icon_biggrin Olstar, all credit goes staight to James Brunton of http://www.imagejb.co.uk, mate of mine that I got into photography. He's just switched to some pretty heavy equipment and is getting used to it, I think he did himself proud on that shot!
Managed to catch the last 10 minutes of your session after I came out of my briefing, looks like you and Duane were definitley having fun, saw him spun up at Luffield aswell.

As you said though, track time brings a whole different aspect to a show if your actually taking part in one of the sessions, the grip out there is immense and you can really push your car to the limit.
Lol Matty, we were definitely having fun, him so more than I. You're right about grip, although I reckon Silverstone is a lot harsher than Donington. I'm quite concerned about my tyres, I haven't been to check on her yet but I reckon at least two are mullered lolol!
