To be honest you wont really see results from a DA unless the car has paintwork that needs to be corrected, and on a VXR i doubt it will...
I try to polish a car once to get it to standard and then go to town building up a wax or sealent..
He`s concentrating on losing the orange peel finish first-getting there but its slow:sleep:
Loving the car mate, after seeing it in the flesh I am amazed...
If you ever get any spare time I have a lovely VW that you could work your magic on

Ha ha cheers dave, its decent as scoobys go but compared to other manufacturers finishes albeit on detailing sites its sorta average.the best 2scoobys ive seen for finish however are these(blue ones anyway)
ref your vw,will have a word with daz me mate who`s got a portercable its just that bk 1/4 where it looks like it may have been blown in before with some paint-thats gonna be hard/impossible to hide.
not looking bad fellas
the astra had some polish other day round at lee's infact it was polished twice with poor boys then lee gave me some meguires scratch remover then some smart wax
looked shit hot, i might get into this polishing stuff its pretty cool
cheers chap
i suppose I could do with a respray, it is 20 years old (not too bad for the age either)
Age aint nothing but a number your not using that excuse lol, still worth seeing how it comes up with a pc or summat dave i reckon just start with that 1/4 no point doing the whole car then finding that needs painting anyway.
Mates series 1`s 22yr old Will be out before winter hopefully he`s bin off work 8month so it aint bin on the road this yr

love those cars *drool*
stupid money for a good one tho
Tell me about it lee gave £4100 for it off e-bay a couple of yr ago though with a sml amount of paintwork reckon it`d still fetch £5k (rear valance an getting ready for a battery tray-the usual)
mods,sorry about the off topic.
