*REPORT* Trax - Silverstone 2008

Well!

For the first year i can remember maxxd set off to a very rainy Silverstone circuit for possible the Biggest Modified Car Gathering on the Calendar. certainly for 1 day...Trax 08

Now i cant start without mentioning the Maxxd Track Session(s), im sure everyone watching wishes they were out there as we all have a million stories driving round the GP circuit in the torrential Weather!

So Big up to D, Cooper, Screech, Widdo, Matty, Teddy, Boothy, Luke, Mike, myself, Jody and the Fella in the C2 for keeping us all entertained, i could go on about how i was in a french sandwich, getting told off for drifting and only making use of my car on one little bit of straight (as im sure anyone following me realised!) everyone else did awsome, D went off....twice, Matty went off behind the pace car...again! and Screech was unfortunatly the only one to come away with what we hope is minor tracking damage afters spinning...over a concrete cerb!

The EDC crash which i missed had to be seen to be believed too!

Nice attendance from maxxd, no stand to worry about obv higlights apart from the track for maxx have to be Craigs fresh C2 (See top 10) and al's mats CRX Suprised a few im sure! No suprise however is that the only VW in the group decided to break () we wont dwel on that hey olly

Anyways i have vids from both sessions, Big thanks to Dec (Boothys Son) & Niece (Cant remember her name sorry!) for videoing us and i have Matty, D and Coop from there second Session

Nothing hugely stood out to me bar a couple so a little difficult top 10 this show but here is My Top Ten Cars of the Show....

TOP 10!!!!

1. Super Super Cool 2dr Vauhall Nova, dont ask why...Its Just Cool.


2. Nissan 350z...white...kittle...Hydraulics! Wow!


3. Astra Vans are Cool, Dont ask me why but loads are popping up and this was one of the coolest!


4. New Evo 10...not many can afford to buy one let alone tune it like this one has been!


5. Matt Green R32 Skyline. THE Toughest looking car in the world?


6. Maxxd's Very Own Craigs C2, Fresh new show car looks awesome!


7. Nissan Stagea..Pic dont do it justice, basically a skyline estate but is soooo Big! Wow


8. He has done it again, sorry folks but a paint change again has made this car still as cool and another top 10 entry!


9. Super Cool Drift Kitted 200SX, great colour kit and return of the Big Wing!


10. And random parked up Toyota Chaser, if you need to ask what one is you wont understand, this is another worth top 10 cool car!

Think about it he has done all the hard work, he has prob spent 30 quid on matt green paint in a rattle can!

No, it has been to a bodyshop to be painted and bits smoothed, with 8x15 front and 9x15 rear bbs rm splits to go on.

Agreed, enjoyed the day even though I was hanging out of my arse, if only all shows were at racetracks, also didnt seem to be as full of chavs like Nationals etc.
