*Report* Performance and Modified North East -Croft

The obvious place to start with this is our triumphant result as we picked up 2nd place and £300 in the Best Car club competition, The maxxd Trophy cabinet just keeps on growing!

Then i suppose a whole report can be dedicated to the drive to croft sat afternoon!

Firstly we were a little late, unfortunatly olstar was ill which had us running round trying to palm off all the gear and secondly i was late finishing work...so you all had to wait for me!!!

Nice steady drive up...for a while but as always it gets a little faster especially up front...mainly down to me and stu...but the A1 was littered with Police so a steady pace was the order of the day

A nice stop for some dinner at maccies saw Spener reverse his car into a huge white concreate Barrier...Duh!

he wasnt the only one...

Following me taking the convoy on a "Senic route" thanks to tom tom everyone braked...just it got a touch harder as it got towards the back...until coop managed to park his corsa neatly into the back of Nik's little C1....which is tougher than it looks (Unlike Mr Coopers Corsa which is in fact made of cheese.)

we only learned of this little incident after we stopped to inspect the damaged front bumper on Stu's 200 (Driven by Girt!) due to the farm track!


But we got there!

Had a fantastic night, a game of I have never, lots of booze, monster energy climbing, walking and having a laugh with security and circuit staff, and No rain!

A few quotes that stick in my head has to be Girts "JDM to F**K" and al as he awoke sunday morning "I feel Like Arsehole"

We also had a issue with our stand place due to an aeroplane but we got the stand planned out and i managed to negotiate some extra space and we were on it!

Cars were set up cleaned and polished, marquees, flags banners, spec sheets and balloons all added to put a real stamp on it

We all chilled out for the day watching the track and having a walk round until presentation time!

Have i mentioned we picked up second place?

Good weekend apart from my car trying to mount the back of Nik's C1 and make a love child Its not my fault my car is horny !

As Ollie said, we now know my car is made of cheese and i need a new bonnet, grill and 2 new headlights

Was a good show and would love to see it back next year but i dont think it will, there is too many problems up there for an event like that!

The show wasnt the biggest but was still packed with quality and thats what matters. But best of all we got 2nd and some cash

was a fun day! didnt like having to get up at early AM to go to show because couldnt camp cos i had to work.

i wasnt impressed with the show to be honest, wasnt that big and food was more expensive than usual - £5 for chips cheese and gravy.

was some good cars at show but only reason we didnt win was cos other stand had like 50 cars! we had best lay out of the stand by far!

Awesome weekend and great result just goes to show we can do it with a handful of the cars and a lot of hard work setting up - best looking setup of the show by far and ace of Girt to invade the winners picture for the presentation mwahahaha!!

Also genius of Ollie to poach the yellow 5......."dude if you want to make sure you can drive straight onto the track you can/we will let you park it in sync with our stand layout.......and what a coincidence we had an even number of cars......that'll do....that'll do
