*Report* Dukeries Rally 13-06-09

Nothing better than a free day of motorsport! twice or 3 times a year rally cars head to the local woods in various events and this time of year plays host to the dukeries events.

Split into 3 main sections (1400cc, Historic and the WRC/Grp N and others classes) the action was good all day

Up early we headed to Thieves wood before a drive to sherwood pines.

Then had a nose round service which was held at Thorsby Hall followed by the penultimate stage at Clipstone south.

Not sure who won overall just yet, but when we last checked the Hyundai Accent WRC was in the lead

Coop nearly got flattened by a runaway bank crawling Focus WRC car, a ton of dust came out my hair when i had a shower but all in all a great day and right on our doorstep!

Had a good day, very dirty when i got home and now just wanna go to bed. Thanks to Ollie and Hayley for the ride today

My big moment of the day was nearly getting killed by a Ford Focus WRC. He decided he wanted to come up a bank and go for my head
