i think everyone has there fave, i personally love the strip, gonna try some tracks this year but i will always give the strip another go!

Full spec of what will be done:

Bumpstrips removed and smoothed
bonnet smoothed with no pug badge
boot smoothed
Bar in middle of front bumper removed
Black mesh fitted to front and rear
de locked
rallye inserts
tinted angel eyes fitted
tinted rear lights fitted
Shortshift fitted
4-2-1 manifold fitted
5 spoke BK 166 alloys n very dark grey fitted
all 5 windows tinted light smoke
full sundance yellow respray
full sundance yellow engine bay respray.

will be ready a the week before fastshow, so plenty of time to get it clean and tidy.

then:

waiting on a quote to have the suade (sp) on the leather seats retrimmed in yellow leather with GTI written in them. may get a showcage but im not sure on them yet.

4-2-1 manifold will be fitted come the end of the week.

Raceland ?

Remember...

When doing the exhaust manifold bolts up, don't over tighten them as they will strip threads.

They don't need to be ub0r tight.

ok cheers mate, yes got raceland, was going to get supersprint but for the difference i would rather save my self £100 lol

manifold is now fitted.
put some french style plates on for time being.

black halo lights
black rear lights
shortshift
chrome engine covers (battery, ecu etc)
front strut brace
showcage (poss)
private plate back on
re-map and chip.

A nice Nissens alloy rad would look sweet in there with your SS manifold.

yep, well its still on quiky at mo as my bro is drivin it, hes got face on cos im taking it back lol. i may leave that till end of feb, when its been bodyshop.

feels a lot beter on higher revs now with manifold fitted.

whats the nissens rads? do they change performance? or just a show piece?
