Copied and pasted from my page on the owners club.
No idea on the power, I'd hazard a guess at around 140bhp. Need a bigger turbo, and I've got a DIY front mount intercooler to fit along with a side exit exhaust and some bucket seats and harnesses. Also got water injection, an oil catch tank, brand new carb and a brand new inlet manifold. The carb and manifold im saving for when I get round to building a new engine.

RE: Shane's R5 GT Turbo
Tell you what, i'll go on GSF's site and buy a pair right now. Then I wont have any excuses. Engine build is likely to cost around a grand, but thats pretty cheap really for the spec. Will be doing it myself, but it will be low compression with lightened/ balanced bottom end and a high profile cam and vernier pulley on. Then just need a T28 "normal" turbo or a T3 VNT. Target will be 200bhp.

RE: Shane's R5 GT Turbo
Just ordered, 2 new rear calipers, chrome brake caliper holders (front and rear), stainless overbraided brake flexy hoses. So no excuses now. Will get some paint for the calipers aswell. Although just realised you wont see any of it behind my wheels. Oh well, at least it will be corrosion resistant. Im excited now, will be able to start stripping the interior and get it back on the road soon as it warms up abit.

RE: Shane's R5 GT Turbo
Might start it this weekend if the weather aint to bad. Could fit the exhaust and start stripping the interior while im waiting for the calipers. Anyone want an R5 Turbo interior for free? Not in very good condition though. Carpet, seats, doorcards and most of the plastic trim will be going.
If I can find the keys I will run it up aswell to see if theres any problems. Hasnt been started in well over a year, may need a re-build.
