*Member* Gem's VW Polo

Gemma bought another polo in november of 06, it had big ass 17" audi replica wheels on it at the time, and was high as a bus.

First on the list was to lower it a bit, but not too much cos the wheels were too big for the car and made things too impractical..

Car looked OK, nothing special though. But its done the job for communting to and from work..

But then gemma started to see more polos, more modified cars.. and wanted to start changing things!

BUT THEN

The gearbox went. So re-con'd gearbox, new clutch and new starter motor later and were back up and running.. although were £700 down Icon_sad

Saved for the first major change of the car.. some new SMALLER wheels!

Gem saw some ronal turbo's on a car at a show last year and really wanted some, so she got some!

Excuse the donny dirt!!

Next on the list is coilovers, so we can go lower but properly.

Then a few subtle body mods.. Gem is really liking the idea of not having any door handles or boot handels..

Might have to speak to paul at source about that favor for his website that i never claimed Icon_lol get a clifford fitted and some poppers, the rest is just bodywork!

Its always gonna be used as a daily driver, so she's not going OTT.. but we thought we might as well start a thread about it Icon_smile

RE: *Member* Gem's VW Polo

where can i source the grills from?

also, the coilovers will be on as soon as the 17"s are sold..

so spread the word about them and get me round about what i need for them and we'll buy the coilvers!

btw, know where i can get some unbranded coilovers from?

apparently people on the polo forum sell them?
