hi guys, heres my project thread for my mk4 Polo

Make Volkswagen

Model Polo glx 1600 8v

Engine Standard at the moment. 4Branch manifold and full exhaust system to come on 25th march. also polo gt camshaft be be fitted along with cut back valves and port matching. starting to gather hosing required to build a custom air intake because nobody actually make a closed system for my engine.

Interior |As Volkswagen intended except for passat gearknob and surround. soon to be buying 300mm momo team steering wheel. half rear cage may be on cards aswell.

Exterior 16v rear lights replaced for OEM mk5 polo rear lights.
clear indicators and side repeaters
Fully debadged including grille
'bad boy' bonnet,to be changed for a black bonnet

Wheels/Chassis BMW E21 13x7j bbs wheels. black centres with silver lips, budget tyres. also in process of painting a set of 6spoke BBS Solitude wheels black, to be fitted with avon or uniroyal tyres(from matty). lowered 40mm using spax springs, coilovers to be ordered 25th march. Standard 239mm brakes. on hunt for g60 caliper carriers to upgrade brakes to 280mm.

As you can see the car looks 'euro-ish' at the minute, but to quite honest im sick of 'euro'. Hence the new wheels, and been a motorsport technology student, im jumping on the 'track' look bandwagen.

i will keep this upto date as and when the mods happen. Hope you like. Thanks for havin a butchers.

RE: My 6N Polo

today i have rust treated the drivers side rear arch, and treated a patch on my sideskirt!

big decision now:

save up like mad, get the car painted around the end of the show season,

or

blow my last installment of my student loan and get it done in time for nationals, but not be able to afford coilovers, and exhasut system.
